Christmas is just around the corner and we all get into the mood and maybe look forward to huge family gatherings and abundant meals. The warm scents of cinnamon, cloves, roasted almonds, and of course, butter, the most valuable Christmas ingredient, fill the house.
Infinite hours to organize and prepare these meals: plenty of starters, multiple main courses and the final course(s), the desserts, which also hold a significant role at the Christmas table. It is highly recommended, and wise, to prepare any meals we can well in advance to shorten the time in the kitchen on the big day!

Desserts are definitely such a choice. If you are lucky enough to be a guest at a Christmas gathering and miss all this fuss, you can still volunteer to bring the dessert and spare your hosts some effort. Our extended family (actually 3 separate households) has come up with a practical solution to make things easier for everyone for Christmas meals: we share the courses and/or dishes to be served so each one has to make less and manageable effort for a bigger festive meal.
In any case and for any occasion, I am sharing my favorite Christmas desserts with you to prepare before the festive meals so you can enjoy more of the big day!
