 4 apples
 3 eggs
 1 tbsp sugar (preferably brown)
 1 cup gluten-free self-raising flour
 1 cup milk
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 1 tbsp oil
 orange zest (optional)
 ½ tsp grounded cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

Butter a round pan approx. Ø28cm/11” inches and sprinkle it with sugar.

Cut the apples in to slices, and lay them on the pan and sprinkle them with the juice of half an orange to prevent them from browning.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until they become a uniform mixture.

Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix lightly.

Pour the mixture into the pan and bake at 180°C/350°F for 35 minutes!
