Your children, of any age, will go crazy with this fluffy, easy, delicious, yummy souffle that you make out of slices of bread.

5 large slices Gea’s Bakery bread
 3 tbsp Gea’s Bakery breadcrumbs
3 slices cheese like edam or gouda or a Greek smoked cheese Metsovou
4 slices of turkey or other ham (I used slices of turkey and pieces of smoked prosciutto)
250 g various grated cheese that are melting well such as mozzarella, gouda etc.
 1 cup milk
 2 eggs
 butter for spreading the bread
 salt (optional)
 pepper (optional)
 smoked or sweet paprika (optional)
1

Lightly butter a 20X25cm/8”X10”inches ovenproof dish.

2

Sprinkle some breadcrumbs.

3

Lightly butter the half slices of toast bread and spread them tightly without gaps, to cover the entire surface of the ovenproof dish.

4

Lay the slices of cheese on them.

5

Then lay the turkey ham on top.

6

Sprinkle with ¼ of the grated cheese.

7

On top, spread the remaining buttered slices of toast bread.

8

Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.

9

Optionally add salt, pepper and paprika.

10

Beat the eggs with the milk and pour them over the entire surface.

11

Sprinkle some breadcrumbs or we can add it just before putting it in the oven to have a crispier crust on top.

12

Cover it with a cling film and leave it for about 1 hour & 30 minutes so that the bread absorbs the milk with the eggs.

13

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.

14

Bake for 20 minutes (time is depending on your oven) until the cheeses are golden brown.

15

Serve and eat it as it is still hot.
